After waiting 5 weeks and multiple faxings of identity cards Blizzard has un-banned my wife's account on the US servers.

They never did explain what it was in the first place that caused the ban - even with the dire last and final warning never to do that again. Whatever that is.

With the un-banning email, they just told her to keep her password safer and used the form letter as if her account had been hacked.

She of course is thrilled and everything is basically good. The point of all of this is that the automated software robots that look for behavior that is contrary to the essence of the game:

  1. failed to notice our activity when we did it on the Korean servers
  2. erroneously picked up on something on the us servers

Since Blizzard executes far better than anyone else in general in the fields of MMOs. It really begs the question how can it be done better? <div

Hey Erik,I was surprised to find out she was banned too and even more surprised that she has no idea why she was banned because they didn't tell her why. :D A little nutty but so glad she's back.
