We happen to be moored under the gaze of the bridge of the large naval ship in the Dutch inventory - the new Karel Doorman.
It literally would be a very easy swim to her bow.
The Dutch being ever practical, figured out how to get the Germans to pay for the ongoing costs of this ship.
