This is actually weird.
GOP Senators have released a bill that creates automatic continuing resolutions with a 1 % decay in funding every 120 days.
Their goal is to end these unnecessary self inflicted wounds.
Very sensible. Why would the GOP Senate advance this while at the same time refuse to hold a vote on the current batch of CRs?
Are they actually looking past 2020? And know that they have lost POTUS for good and trying to start trimming executive powers now?
