Homophobia and shaming women

Homophobia and shaming women. I do not understand these behaviors. I really do not get it. If women enjoy sex - why is that bad? If two other men are into each other, why is that bad?

If you do the math: women who like sex + men like other men = more good times for me?

Obviously I am jesting here. But what is the source of fear that drives the hate? Has there been *any* cases of adult male homosexuals raping straight men? I never hear about it. But women, every single day have to seriously consider if the car she is going to get into belongs to a rapist or a killer.

As a straight, white guy, I have enjoyed so much privilege - so much - I still am not aware of it all. I have walked through dozens of cities at night both sober and not [quite] sober and never feared for my person. Women simply do not ever have that enjoyment.

LGBT have the worst. Even the olympics has decided that they have no rights and that putting them in prison is simply a domestic police action. It feels like we are making some progress and then Russia takes a major crap on LGBT, and the world does - nothing.

How do we end this violent bullshit?
