GOP work so hard to enforce anti-women, anti-minority, anti-gay, anti-education, anti-science, and anti-climate policies.

BUT, but, but! They want us to believe that they Love, Love, Love our grandchildren and they want to protect our grandchildren from debt.

So, they hate women, minorities, gay, college kids, science and the world's climate. But somehow they care about the grandchildren?

Please.

The GOP needs an idealogical house cleaning.

If the GOP really is the party of fiscal constraint, then starting off with a $3B pork spending dam is fraudulent.

The GOP should be about growing jobs, that would sell. But to grow jobs they need to admit that supply-side economics is voodoo economics as Bush senior called out.

To grow jobs, the GOP need to wrap their minds around creating demand. And then how to create demand without increasing federal spending?

39% of Federal revenues come from payroll taxes e.g. FICA, Social Security - that is $1.2 trillion dollars each year.

Eliminate payroll taxes altogether. Kill them. That frees up $1.2 Trillion of spending and the economy would grow about 10% right there. And you would see about 20% of that come back in other tax revenues, or about $240B, so a real cost of $960M

How to pay for it? Eliminate overseas tax evasion by the biggest 25 public companies would pick up $300B. Eliminate the tax break on long-term capital gains and you would pickup another $200-$300B. You are now halfway there. Cut the Department of Defense back to where we were in 200, and you would save another $500B. Suddenly you have a budget surplus.
