Ad Astra now has an air compressor for the dive tanks!
Last week, I told myself not to buy a new one, just relax and wait for a used one to be available.
Yesterday, when getting our tanks filled (for 10 Euro a tank!) I chatted with the owner of the dive shop and to happy surprise he had the EXACT make and model of compressor I wanted to purchase.
It had just 50 hours on it, we went and gave it a full service including cleaning the carb, and threw in 6 filters.
It is a medium sized compressor and I will build a box for it in Sint Maarten, but it will fill 4 tanks an hour. Sweet!
