In another thread, a friend of mine is thinking about how to handle the debate tonight in regards to her young children viewing (youngest is 3).
At one point in the conversation another person came into the thread that I do not know and said that her daughter is 8 years old and the civic lesson does not outweigh the word.
I am stunned. Why wouldn't the civics lesson - especially for a young girl entering a world that supports rape culture - be much more important than dealing with a bad word?
Does the civics lesson outweigh the word? What!? Why is that even a hard decision?
I am sharing this here not to call someone out. I am just wondering if I am way wrong? Is my head broken?
Our kids are the ones who will be deeply affected by the decisions made in this election, why would it be taboo to discuss the felonious criminal actions of the leading candidate from the GOP?
