Fireflies!

Fireflies!

I saw my first fireflies last night! I went for a late walk with Kyle and Max, and when we neared Blunn Creek I saw these magical flashes of light.

I have always wanted to see them - the closest I have ever seen were the props on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland.

There were about 50 of them spread over a space of say a basketball court. It was the first time for Max and Kyle too.

It was one of those moments were time slowed down and we just sat our heels and let the sky go dark.

A frog came by to visit us, fireflies, the creek babbled, and a big thunderstorm was on its way.

Truly magical.
