Thank you everyone for the warm birthday wishes!

I had a great birthday, my friend David flew down to cruise on Ad Astra for 10 days.

We toured the huge 76 monohull Cap II run by my friends Kieth and Didi, picked up a bunch of goodies from town. But especially check out the new flybridge - bed! It is basically a queen sized bed at the top of the boat, now with shade canvas. Best cabin on the boat for sure!

Peter from Mandalay brought over some great German blond beers from Martinique, and Didi brought over some fine red & white wines.

We sat up there drinking wine, beer and rum discussing the world, economics, robotics and politics, then:

Then Kaiwen Bethke made a feast for us - truly the best spaghetti and meatballs I have ever had. She made the meatballs and sauce from scratch, and even put chicken broth in the sauce. We also had BBQ chicken, sweet corn, salad - it was gorgeous.

Then more discussion on how to fix the planet until one by one we lost revelers to the stars.

All of you friends are in my heart and mind - thank you again for the warm thoughts!
