So today I did a bit of programming on Blackjack Casino, had a fajita and nachos BBQ cooked on the backyard fire, hosted Nimai and Channing and their families over. While the kids were here much minecraft was played (and even sung to).
While drinking a modest amount of my beer, Nimai and Channing helped me get down 3 more large cedar trees that were blocking the sunlight in my garden. Channing is a freaking' wolverine, he is a powerful ball of muscle that rips trees apart with his bare hands and is oblivious to small branches sticking out of his legs and the blood dribbling down his legs. (Even more impressive is he is a hemophiliac but just doesn't give a shit.)
Now wrapping up the evening getting back to a bit of coding and sipping on my home brew, checking out facebook and some links my friends sent me.
Now, a year ago, what did I do with my Sundays.... oh yeah, the Sunday eStaff report and the associated email storms. That never felt like a good use of time and energy. Well, warm cheers to anyone who has had to draft a Sunday eStaff report.
