As an alternative to caving, Trump might just sit in the West wing and watch TV.

The Senate and House have historically overridden 10% of presidential vetos.

So perhaps we see 7 different continuing resolutions each for funding say 90 days for each of the major departments.

Trump has to veto and own the shutdown 7 more times. And Congress rolls over him.

He gets to play the super victim card and no longer be responsible.
