Very productive day:
Filled Ad Astra with 650 liters of diesel. Last fill was back in May at Martinique.
Kyle and Max changed the oil on the two Yanmar 55 engines.
Using a new autopilot control head, I was able to diagnose that yes indeed the old Raymarine X30 is toast. Now I need to order a new autopilot for FAST delivery.
Also did some maintainence on the compressor. Pressure washed the boat.
Kaiwen Bethke provisioned for tomorrow's double tank dive....

Lifting the compressor with the aux halyard made it so much easier to tighten the belt!

This 2019 maintenance marathon had the same rhythm, but ended with an engine that would run yet refused to move the boat anywhere.

The autopilot problem first diagnosed here finally got fixed — along with 14 other things — in Curaçao.
Curacao has been surprisingly fun!
A year later, the generator finally got fixed — some boats have a running list that never quite empties.
