Article missed the whole point. Trump did not make a mistake. He is purposely misleading his supporters into believing national debt is from international trade. This way he can continue with eliminating taxes for the ultra wealthy and his partisans will not see the cause and effect.

The press needs get 10x sharper. For way too long they have drifted to the right in order to "tell both sides". The result is intellectually feckless journalism.

We are being screwed hard.
