The GOP does not want to win POTUS on 2016:

A) if they won, then they would be on the hook for leadership - fuck that - it would be the W Bush fiasco all over again.

B) their high-level strategy is to break the [usa] government to allow the 0.01% and Fortune 100 to opt out of taxes and receive ~$500B a year in our tax payer money

C) it is simplest to take advantage of taking the country as a hostage [via debt ceiling etc] to get what you want.

D) if they wanted to actually win, they would not have fielded a clown car. We would be getting a slick, totally tight reasonable candidate. They have enough money to buy *anyone*, they could get *anyone* they want.
