Can't stop the global race to the bottom on overseas tax havens is the common wisdom. The largest corporations and the ultra wealthy can always do the Irish-Dutch sandwich or park their holdings in layers of shells from cyprus to the Caymans right?

But somehow online gambling is very well regulated globally. There is no publicly traded company thumbing its nose at the USA, EU, or China.

Recreational drugs are very well regulated.

People are extremely well regulated with no freedom to change the country they live without considerable expense, danger or time costs.

But we cannot regulate the off shore tax havens?

I call bullshit. I do not think we have even tried.
