Really excited right now...
...just got working an infinitely expanding world engine.
It builds the world dynamically in chunks of 256x256 tile layers ala the minecraft family of games.
It is 2D over head tiles for now, but stubbed in all the support for z.
Looking forward to trying some art in both overhead, iso and 3D seeing what I like better.
