I just went to the official HRC website and reviewed her policy platform, and then I went to Bernie's. A lot of things I found surprising.
#1 - HRC's site is very light in terms of policies in general and mostly uses unmeasurable statements. She does a very few specific proposals - and most of them are to simply continue existing programs.
#2 - Bernie calls out explicitly the equal pay amendment so that it would be illegal to pay women 70 cents on the dollar. HRC makes no mention of it on her platform. Why? I cannot see the positive politics for her. What is she hoping to achieve by NOT being for equal pay for women? Will she pick up more male votes I guess (assuming all men are sexist?)???
#3 - She explicitly commits to increased bombing in the ME and increasing ground troops. Why does she do this? She is not going to garner GOP votes with this, and she loses progressive votes. I can only think she picks up super-PAC money with this.
#4 - She is campaigning AGAINST universal healthcare - a flip-flop of her iconic platform of her whole career. Again, the GOP will not turn around and love her for this, and she again loses progressive votes. Why? Again, I can only think that it does pick up super-PAC money from the insurance and pharma industries.

There is so much more to dig out of these two websites to compare and contrast.
