So, we have lots of free coconuts falling from the sky.
Yesterday I harvested one. I was the only one interested in the meat. So ate all of it.
Today I found out the following fact about coconuts:
"High in Dietary Fiber rivaling other fiber sources such as psyllium, wheat bran, oat bran, and rice bran. Coconut supplies an impressive 61% dietary fiber! ..... Since the body cannot digest the dietary fiber in coconut, no calories are derived from it and it has no effect on blood sugar."
I found this out intimately.
