The Waters and Bethke clans with a drop in from the Malle clan did The Thing WIth Boiling Oil!
So, it is impressive, and violent as you submerge the turkey, but you cook the entire turkey in 36 minutes!
Kaiwen Bethke brined it for 36 hours, and there was some first time set-up with the apparatus, but the turkey came out very, very good.
It is not like fried chicken, but it is like Peking duck as Ian Waters says.
Fast, juicy.
It really is like the southern microwave for turkey.
