I love the concept of Bitcoin. I wrote a bit of fiction that led to a funded game concept - Black9 - back in 2002-2003 where a big piece of fiction was a cryptocurrency that I called MyPrivateMoney.
So I am not a hater. I love screwing the too-big-to-fail banks with direct transfers.
But I am struggling to come up with a current use-case where the working class will be supported by bitcoin?
In other words how can bitcoin be used for good? How can it level the playing field where big corps are above the law?
It seems to me that bitcoin is still a delicate lace of luxury dreams, and that nothing has changed and all the core infrastructure is still under the grip of the oligarchy?
Am I just worn out and cynical?
