So Walmart had to pay $82m as part of pleading guilty of dumping hazardous waste into our water over the last 10 years.
Let's scale the average American to $50k net worth (looked it up). Then in comparison, if you dumped a bunch of hazardous chemicals into the water you would have been fined - $30.
When was the last time you paid $30 for a 10 year criminal investigation let alone a traffic ticket.
Give me a break, this was a waste of the government's time. We should have given them a tax credit for their fuel costs for the trucks to dump the waste.
