My mother Diane Franyo passed away Thursday evening. She was enjoying the afternoon in southern California and cancer took her as well.
We had a lot of tough times. But I do remember her support with making games. Once she helped type in pages of machine code for a VIC20 game.
I learned tenacity from her.
But the later years of her life have been in extremely poor health and I feel guilty in my relief that she is no longer suffering.
I am tremendously grateful to Kyle Bethke who has stepped up and flew to LA to take care of the arrangements and support my step father Leslie Franyo.
So that I can bury myself in work - as my way of unpacking her passing. And still processing my Dad's passing just 6 months ago.
Makes me want to up my game on healthy living. Whenever I get grand kids I want to be there!
