I took 48 hours off to dash down to Boca Chica before SN8 flies. This is 6 hours before yesterday's static test.
This one has 3 engines, and is expected to fly to 15km any hour now!
My body was covered in goosebumps for an hour. After all that 2020 has thrown at us all, being in the presence of this Starship filled me with deep optimism.
I really urge everyone to go checkout the Starship Superheavy Orbital Launch Facility while you can still just drive up and park on the sand of this 2-lane road.
