I am enjoying an incredibly simple pleasure:
A steady breeze flowing into the cockpit from the stern, and afternoon shade in the cockpit.
This is not normally possible in any of the tropical / sub-tropical latitudes as the trade winds flow east to west...
For a variety of logistical (airport/provisioning/strong WIFI) reasons we decided to take a stern-to-east slip in Marina Bas-du-Fort. So we have the afternoon sun ahead of us and the trade winds cooling the cockpit!
And GREAT WIFI!
And bicycles on the dock...
Oh the simple pleasures in life!
