Gordon Walton shared a story about a dad who brought a '45 gun open carry to his kids school. The dad thinks he is saving 'Merica... Looking through the comments in Gordon's post there were dozens of people gleefully proud of this man carrying a loaded gun into a school with the children present.

This is jackassery. This is not freedom fighting. There are dozens of videos on YouTube of police officers losing control of their weapons and being shot with their own weapons. Police officers are professionally, trained, remain trained, and yet they lose control of their weapons. What chance does this guy if someone wanted to steal his gun from him? 90% chance to keep control of his gun?

What else could go wrong? What if another parent felt threatened by him and his gun? Could there be a fight?

What if this guy happens to be one of the 10% mentally ill people and he has a gun w/o a medical background check?

What else could go wrong?

If you are going to own a gun - grow the fuck up.
