Wow there really was a great reception to the talk that I gave on Monday at GDC in the Worlds in Motion Summit!

I never before had anyone draw a diagram from a talk I gave, and this week I got three sort of:

One genuine diagram of my comment that green mana bars are hubris: image

Another where I was compared to the grouch for agreeing with the other CEOs that splitting the equity evenly at founding always leads to bad feelings: image

And here is an xkcd diagram used to illustrate my thesis that these goal structures should be applied to working out! image

Hi there, I came to your talk on the Monday session and really enjoyed it! It was my favorite talk at the summit by far.Until going to the Worlds in Motion summit, I had not realized that there seems to be this weird animosity from "virtual worlds people" about "mmog people," but I figured it out from the unusual tension in that room! Did you notice it too? Or was it just me?

yeah it has always been there... the VW people I think are bay area types that do not really want to hang out with the gamers...-Erik
