Real nice afternoon solo dive.
When you are alone the fish are so much more calm, a grouper was in some sort of cooperative hunt with a large caribbean octopus and I watched them swim together for about 4 minutes. Spectacular color changes to white when the octopus was over the sand.
One good sized lionfish and spotted moray eel hanging out together at 70 feet.
Testing out my new DiveRite regulators for back mount. In addition, trying out my pony bottle for solo diving. Feeling pretty handy about a bunch of small gear swappings and setup.
Solo diving is so relaxing.
Just pure focus.
Then at the end of my dive the huge ass cruise ship 400 feet away started up its engines and I thought for sure I was doomed. Felt the awesome sounds throughout my body.
