The assumption that Trump is working to maximize gains for Americans and America at large, or even to maximize gains for the American business elite.

Yes, of course the 0.1% tax cut certainly targeted the 0.1%

But his trade policy is wrecking American farmers and the remaining manufacturers from coast to coast.

Instead, he is protecting the Chinese mobile company that defied our $1B of sactions for selling to Iran and NK.

Now, Trump has cancelled American soybean contracts with their largest customer - China, and now Trump has given that business to Russia.

He has affirmed Russia's military invasion and annexation of Crimerea and he has given up on the South Koreans and allowing China to expand it's Dominion over the whole Korean peninsula and Trump has militarily withdrawn from contesting China's annexation of the Sprately islands.

All Trump had to do is wear a red hat and say fake news, and all Putin had to do is keep Trump afloat with a few billion bucks.

Trump breaks our alliances both military and trade with Mexico, Canada, Germany and France - exactly what Russia has been trying to achieve since WW2.

We have now a $1 trillion war budget, but again Putin just had to spend a few billlion across 5 years and now he owns the whole GOP party and propaganda platforms.

Hmm. This is the Fourth of July, I just remembered.

Sigh. We need to dig deep and resist.

Soon, Trump is going to blunder a few too many times in a short time and it will cause crushing disillusionment and anger from the Trump base.

Greedy, power hungry people always over-reach. At some point, they will take too many cookies. And then it will all tumble down, like the Ponzi scheme it really is.

It is a good time to be an American, at close to 250 years, it is time to reaffirm why we created this country.
