At Interplay I used to play MTG sealed deck tournaments run by a friend of mine Bill Dugan (aka Weez). To me he is one of the most fiendishly smart and funny guys that said jokes so outrageous that I felt like a farm boy from the country around him. Before I met him I thought I was capable of being too graphic and gross when joking around with friends - but he shattered that illusion for me and I realized I was a mere dullard.
So over the years I have been working on my technique and I think that my lunch mates of recent times can testify to the difficulty of enjoying their food.
Anyways Bill Dugan is now running Torpex Games and is coming out with an XBLA game - here is the preview at IGN from their playing of it at TGS.
Now, I took this time to tell you about Weez's new game because this is exactly what he is capable of - break out, create a company, design a great game and do it smartly with the XBLA distribution...
AND(!)
...all that is just a fancy pre-text to get after his real goal: just mess with people's heads with the Uberschizoid mode for his game. Read the preview and run it through the little game pre-compiler in your head - I started feeling my shoulders bunch up just from reading the preview.
How many people are you going to hurt with that play mode Weez? <div
