Amazon's new FPS that allows a 1 cent charge to a custmer and amazon will only take a quarter of a cent fee. These are essentially digital currencies that amazon maintains. If you think about it World of Warcraft gold sells for as little as $10.00 for 1000 Gold, so that is 1 cent per gold. Now there are 100 silver to one gold so that is 0.01 cent per silver. Further there is 100 copper to 1 silver so that is 0.0001 cent per copper. And keep in mind that Blizzard is highly profitable managing these "nano transactions". So Amazon is within a factor of 10,000 of Blizzard!
But still, these should unlock I think $0.5 to $2.5b in new spending in the US....
