25th Anniversarry in Paris

Somehow Kaiwen and I have been married 25 years! We are celebrating that milestone, my 53rd birthday (hat tip to Nimai, Bilbo and Frodo) and the first year of KnitATX.

We flew into Paris on a wonderful Air France flight 003. The plane was named La Rochelle and that made me smile thinking fond memeories of taking delivery of Ad Astra in 2012 13 Septembers ago. The flight had 100+ seats open and we were able to spread out, the Flight Attendent Fredricka was delightful and gave the best service, all the wines (4!) and small gift.

We flew through my actual birthday and landed at 7am. Thankfully the Titanium Elite level with Marriott got us an immediate checkin to our room way up on the 19th floor. The view was incredible with the Eiffel Tower on the left, the Seine in the foreground, the church complex on the hill to the far right, the Bastille Statue in the new right.

The Eiffel Tower at night with the search beacon was amazing
